This year marks Singapore’s 59th birthday and SingCham Korea hosted its annual Happy Singapore Day party themed, “Experience the Future” where guests enjoyed an evening of interactive activities, delicious food and drinks, and networking.

As always, the evening began with the Singapore national anthem and pledge, after the welcome speeches by SingCham Korea’s Honorary Patron, Ambassador Eric Teo, and SingCham Korea’s Chairman, Mr Justin Yong. The evening soon gave way to merriment as guests enjoyed a delicious buffet and drinks, while catching up with old friends and also making new business connections. 

For this year’s edition, we focused on futuristic elements as per the theme. Guests were excited to take photos at the AI photobooth where they could take home prints of themselves in the chosen traditional outfits of the main races in Singapore, against the backdrop of different Singapore landmarks. We also invited everyone to write a postcard to their future selves or their loved ones, which will be sent to them next year.

As always, nobody left empty-handed even if they didn’t win a lucky draw prize as we prepared door gifts for everyone, kindly sponsored by Gryphon Tea Company, JUMBO Seafood, and Justin Modern Asia.
