Nurulhuda had a solid career, running her own business in Singapore. She was the proud owner of a small fashion boutique that caters to the Malay and Muslim community in Singapore. Though her business was doing well, she had to give it up to join her husband as a trailing spouse supporting his international teaching career.

Despite being a trailing spouse, Nurulhuda managed to stand on her own two feet, impressed her husband’s superiors, and offered a position in his school. She is currently the Communications Manager for Asia Pacific International School, and she oversees the branding and communication efforts of both the Seoul and Hawaii campuses.

Having lived in five different countries, Nurul is adaptable and has vast experience in both life and career. Apart from running her own business, Nurul worked as a journalist with SPH and was fortunate enough to be assigned to Doha, Qatar, to cover the inaugural World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) in 2009 and meeting other dignitaries around the world.
