Jacob Hyungchan Cho is an associate attorney at Dentons Lee, which is the Korean local arm of the global law firm Dentons. He is admitted to the Singapore Bar, and advises local and foreign clients on a broad range of regulatory, transactional, and dispute resolution matters, which include insurance & reinsurance, financial services regulations, cross-border investments and transactions, and other general corporate and commercial matters. In particular, he has acted for many financial institutions such as commercial and investment banks, funds, capital markets entities, insurers/reinsurers and insurance brokers, as well as multinational corporations and private clients.

Prior to joining Dentons Lee, Jacob worked at leading law firms in both Singapore and Seoul, and is particularly well-placed to advise on cross-border transactions or disputes involving Korean and Singaporean parties. Having lived in both Korea and Singapore, he is also actively involved in fostering stronger ties between the two jurisdictions in terms of business and within the legal community.
